Cats offer some awesome hugs but can also make you call the police in the middle of the night.
Apparently, a St Paul’s resident from Bristol UK called the local police after learning that his feline pet had cuddled next to a paper bag that had suspicious items.
The pet’s owner claims that he woke up in the morning only to find his cat lying next to a bag that had white and purple capsule-like wraps.
Anxious of what the cat had brought home, the cat’s owner proceeded forward to call the local police, the Avon and Somerset Police.
Acting on the tip-off, the local police hastily took a few minutes to arrive at the crime scene.
To their amusement, the police did establish that the capsule-like wraps contained cocaine and heroin.
The police mentioned that the Class A narcotics had a street value of a couple of hundreds of dollars.
The Somerset Police took to Twitter to make mention of the incident. Luckily, it turned out the police were unable to arrest the feline.
Maybe the arrest flopped because the handcuffs were too large? Or maybe the police had no way to question the cat using purrs?
Or maybe the Class A narcotics belonged to the pet’s owner and he was just trying to find a way out of the situation. What do you think?
